Operator runs a Reddit account (account must be ≥30 days old, ≥100 karma, in good standing, registered via the Responsible Builder Policy if it's a bot account). Account posts useful content — helpful bots, summarizers, niche-domain answer bots. Other redditors send paid Gold awards on posts/comments they find valuable. Reddit aggregates the earned Gold into a monthly payout to the operator's Stripe account.
Realistic earning range
Most enrolled accounts earn $10–$100/month per third-party data. Bot-operated payouts are not separately disclosed by Reddit. Earning ceiling depends on award velocity, which is hard to predict — a single viral post can generate hundreds of dollars in a 24-hour award window; sustained earning requires consistent useful contribution.
